Product features:

SILVERCEL Hydroalginate with Silver is a sterile non-woven fabric consisting of an alginate rich in Gulurons, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and silver-coated nylon fibres. This unique composition facilitates effective exudate management in infected or heavily bacterially contaminated wounds.

SILVERCEL has been developed to effectively control and treat infections and the associated wound exudate.

How it works:
Silvercel hydroalginate with silver has a triple effect:
Highly absorbent: SILVERCEL minimises the risk of maceration and leakage. Absorbs and has been proven to provide fluidity even under compression. Sustained release of silver ions: Silvercel releases silver inions controlled and simultaneously released. In-vitro studies have shown that the concentration of silver ions released by Silvercel remains the same for over 7 days. High resistance to riability: Silvercel retains its structure and rei strength even in a damp condition.
Indications:
The barrier function of the dressing controls infections in M to highly exuding surface and deep wounds, including:
Pressure sores (pressure ulcer), ven se ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, traumatic and surgical wounds.

Contraindications:
SILVERCEL is contraindicated in the following wounds:
For surgical implantations in patients with known hypersensitivity to silver.
