PolyMem 5077 Non-Adhesive Dressing Pad, 19 x 17 cm

Polymer Non-Adhesive Dressing Pad originally designed for the needs of sensitive and painful burn wounds. The dressings are thin polyurethane foam membrane dressings containing a non-toxic cleanser (F68 Surfactant) and a moisturizer (glycerol) with a semi-permeable film backing. The addition of a starch co-polymer within the foam helps bind moisture and concentrate growth factors produced by the body. Non-adherent and help to cleanse the wound whilst in place to minimize procedural pain and trauma when dressings are changed. The unique properties of a Polymer dressing also help to reduce inflammation, promoting comfort and pain reduction while the dressing is worn. Clinical experience demonstrates that Polymer dressings actively encourage the healing process and are suitable for fragile skin. Measures 17 cm length by 19 cm width.
