Kliniderm Foam Silicone is a soft foam dressing that supports the creation and maintenance of the physiological wound healing system. This particularly soft dressing allows a very high wearing comfort and offers through its special silicone coating a painless and atraumatic dressing change. In addition, the silicone coating prevents maceration of the wound margin since wound exudate can not escape from the wound margin. Kliniderm Foam Silicone is a self-adhesive dressing which is available in two thicknesses for optimal adaptation to the amount of exudate. Cylinder Foam Silicone is available with a border. The three-layer structure of the product allows very high liquid management capacity, so it is also applicable in combination with compression therapy. The outer side of the dressing is coated with a vapor-permeable polyurethane membrane, which protects the wound from external influences. Kliniderm Foam Silicone may remain on the wound for up to 7 days. Cylinder Foam Silicone is suitable for moderately to strongly exuding wounds. Measures 7.5 cm length by 7.5 cm width.
