Ensure TwoCal is a high energy, 200ml ready to drink, milkshake style oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management of patients with, or at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition. Each serving contains 399 kcal, 16.8g protein and 27 vitamins and minerals. Ensure TwoCal contains FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), which have an important role to play in the diet by helping to support gastrointestinal function. Food for Special Medical Purposes, for use under medical supervision. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement for patients who cannot or will not eat sufficient quantities of everyday food and drink to meet their nutritional needs (excluding fluid requirements). Nutritionally complete for vitamins and minerals in 875 ml (excluding electrolytes, calculated using the UK Reference Nutrient Intake for men aged 19 - 50 years).
*Vitamin D is synthesised from cholesterol, extracted from the grease in wool sheared from live sheep. Most manufacturers use vitamin D from this source, which is approved by the Vegetarian Society.

Directions

Ready to use. For oral use. Best served chilled. Shake well, once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. May also be served as a warm drink. Do not boil. Can also be added to other foods.
