Medipore + Pad 5cm x 7.2cm Island Dressing (Pack of 50) The dressing is made of a porous, breathable soft cloth material with a central, low-adherent absorbent pad. The pad absorbs wound exudate, yet resists sticking to the wound surface, allowing easy removal of the dressing. The dressing's soft stretchable backing conforms well to body contours. The corners are rounded to help prevent edge roll and wrinkling. The hypoallergenic adhesive is strong yet easy to remove. Enhances patient comfort – Soft, porous and breathable. Unique, non-adherent pad won`t stick to the wound, thus minimizing disruption of the healing tissues upon removal. Helps support healing – Absorbent pad protects wound and absorbs drainage, while allowing skin to breathe, thus reducing the potential for maceration around the wound edges. Helps reduce the risk of skin maceration. Gentle to the skin – Dressing provides excellent adhesion, yet is gentle to the skin. Contains no natural rubber latex.
